My Favorite Websites:
Twitter.com
Yahoo.com
Youtube.com
Google.com
Facebook.com

These websites are really neat and organized. Their color schemes go together and aren't random colors. I keep going to the sites because they are entertaining and I can use email and communicate with others. They also present a lot of information. The main thing that these sites do is keeping it simple.

How To Video

"How To Procrastinate"

https://vimeo.com/51151495

My cousin Luis, my brother Carlos, and my friend Carlos.
Luis-Filmed
Carlos #1 as Carlos
Carlos #2 Filmed and as Carlos

My process was kind of having a part of a video like a blog. The other part of the video was activities at my house. I placed my camera on a tripod.

Snags in my video was the royalty music, I could not get it to download. Vimeo also took a while to upload. The lighting was also hard to get in some parts of my house. I got a small lamp to light up my room. For the music, I used a song I had in my iPod.

Animated or Video?

Steven Johnson expresses the ideas from his book Where Good Ideas Come From in an animated video and a traditional video. I think that traditional video is more effective because it sets a more educated mood. You have to pay attention to it though, because it may seem like just a lecture. The animated version is also helpful because it guides your thoughts and presents it as a visual map. But, personally, I feel that information is taken more seriously through a traditional video.

Our video was about Diego and Dora trying to find the cupcake oasis. They try to get help from the Map, but they get no help from her. To their surprise, the cupcake oasis has been right next to them all along.

My contribution the team and the video was that I played the role of Diego. I also edited and trimmed some clips of the video.

Neon Glow: I like this filter because it shows the picture in both a focused and sharpened and in an abstract and a distorted way. The purple gives in a relaxed mood.

Photo Copy: This filter shows the picture in either positive and negative space. It's bold and keeps the picture simple in black and white.

Water Color: The water color filter blends the picture in smooth transitions through different values.
